What is LightStim?

LightStim is an FDA-approved, painless treatment that uses low-level light therapy (LLLT). LLLT has been shown to help regenerate tissues, reduce inflammation, improve wound healing, relieve pain, and regrow hair.

LLLT utilizes red and blue light energy. When red light energy is applied to cells, it is converted to a usable form. This can be compared to the way plants are able to convert the energy from sunlight to grow. LLLT red light is absorbed by the cells, which are then stimulated to heal and regenerate. When blue light energy is applied to acne, it destroys bacteria that causes acne to form, which results in greatly reduced acne breakouts and inflammation. LLLT treatments also boost circulation.

The LightStim device has multiple panels that use different wavelengths for different concerns, including anti-aging and skin health, healing and post-surgical therapy.

How Does LightStim Work?

The LightStim device exposes the skin to light-emitting diodes (also called LED.) The different wavelengths of the light penetrate into the skin at different depths, which triggers different cellular responses to rejuvenate and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, and increase circulation.
