The CO2 Laser Hand Rejuvenation Procedure

First, the treatment area is defined and cleaned using soap and water. A cooling ice pack may be administered before and after the treatment. The fractional CO2 laser is then applied to penetrate the skin deeply, removing the damaged skin layers, stimulating collagen growth, and enhancing tissue renovation. Healthy cells will then be able to regenerate new skin layers, significantly reducing visible signs of aging.

What Is Expected after CO2 Laser?

Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing recovery varies and depends on the depth of the laser treatment and the density of the treated skin. During the days following the procedure, it is important to closely follow the post-treatment instructions that will be given to you.

For the comfort of our patients, a topical anesthetic may be applied, and cold packs may be used before and after the procedure.

There is no downtime, ensuring our patients return to their normal routine immediately after the treatment. This procedure may require a few treatment sessions to optimize the results and will require annual maintenance once completed.
