What to Expect During Treatment

Since the gel is biocompatible there is no prior skin testing necessary. RADIESSE is given as an injection with a small needle. The procedure does not take up much time and can be done during your lunch hour. RADIESSE is mixed with a local anesthetic so the treatment is not uncomfortable.

What to Expect After Treatment

Results happen immediately after injection. There may be some swelling, bruising or redness and it is best to avoid the sun for a day or until any swelling and redness has gone away. Ice may be applied to injection site. Most people are able to get back to their day right after treatment. Touch-up or maintenance treatments may be desirable. The results may last for a year or more, some lasting up to 18 months.
