Dr. Garramone hosts Junior League gathering and fundraiser
FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 30, 2015) – Dr. Ralph Garramone recently hosted a Girl’s Night Out gathering and fundraiser for the Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc.
More than 40 members and friends attended the open house event and learned about the latest trends and products promoting healthy skin care.
Approximately $400 was raised during the event through raffles to support the Junior League’s work in the community.
A member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., the Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1966 and made up of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The JLFM is also a granting organization, providing mini-grants to organizations throughout Southwest Florida’s five-county area to programs that create better life outcomes for our area’s youth. Since 1966, the JLFM has contributed more than 1,000,000 hours and over $1,000,000 to community projects and programs.
JLFM memberships are open to all women aged 21 and older of all races, religions and national origin who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
